From the 7th to the 9th of November 2008
FRIDAY 7
We met at 6pm in the association for our last family break trip in Legutiano. We got to about 7,30 pm to the Urkiola Enea house. When we settled, we indicated everybody to their rooms.
We then played billiards, just to have some fun.
About 9 pm we had our dinner and after we had a chit-chat and played some board games.
SATURDAY 8
After having breakfast and since the house was located in the town centre, we went to the supermarket to buy some fruit and to the bakery to get some bread. The objective was to acknowledge several day to day routines and cope with them.
Once we left our groceries back at home, we went to the Town square to play some street games.
We first played “Handkerchief”, that even though it seemed a bit too confusing at first, they finally understood it perfectly and had a great time.
The second one was called “corners”. The aim of the game is to switch places when hearing a clap sound trying to avoid getting caught by the guy at the centre of the square We could not finish the game properly because they found it rather hard.
The third game was hopscotch. They had to throw the stone into a square and hop to get the stone wherever it had been thrown, and then get back to the starting point.
These games had several objectives: full attention, speed, equilibrium and agility.
We then went back home to do a craftsmanship. We built a telephone by joining two plastic cups by a thread. One person spoke from a cup and the other one listened from the the other cup. The objective was to work the fine and gross motor functions.
After lunch we went by bus to Vitoria-Gasteiz. We visited the Virgen Blanca square and the church from where Celedón comes down in the festivals. We had a soft drink in a terrace. Sine it was cold, we went into a shopping mall and visited various shops. We finally went to the cafeteria to have something hot and to rest.
At 8 pm we went back to Legutiano and at 9 pm had supper. After dinner we watched “Wrongfully Accused”. It was very funny.
SUNDAY 9
After breakfast we went on a nice walk through Legutiano visiting the church, town centre, pond… When we came back we played some bingo. The objective was to learn the numbers.
We then had lunch, we rested and at 5pm we came back ending the last family break of the year.
