COUNTRY HOUSE URRESTI EN ARTEAGA

Friday May 11
As usual we met at our association headquarters to catch the bus at 18.00. At 19.00 we arrived to Urresti, the farmhouse where we spent a pleasant weekend. Once settled and until dinner time we were knowing the surroundings of the house.
As is usual, half an hour before dinner group 2 (Cristina, Oscar y Andrés) were responsible to set the table. And then was the group 1 (Jorge, Juanjo and Jose Ramon) who had to clear the table.
As, their request for the evening movie was not cartoon, but comedy, we saw a movie entitled “The world is crazy, crazy, crazy,” which is a classic 60’s comedy.
Saturday May 12
After an early breakfast, because they rose earlier than planned, we went to pick the eggs up from hens of the farm and feed the animals: chickens, Vietnamese pigs, goats, a prairie dog, cats, ducks, geese, mink, turtles, peacocks, wild boars and enus.
We dedicate the second part of the morning to paint some pots. Once they were dry, we plant some begonias in for each child to have a plant.
After lunch and rest a while, went to the bus stop to go for a walk Elantxobe. We had scheduled a trip to a shrine, but the bus ran so fast that did not stop and left lying in the bus stop. So we had to improvise and let them and let them decide what to do. Cristina, Oscar and Andrew played Parcheesi, Juanjo and Jose Ramon Jorge dominoes and a game of maching couples who had being bought especially for him.
For the second part of the afternoon we held a table tennis championship. And after dinner we took the game of goose. As they really liked it, we had laminated the cards and prepared a lot of tests and questions. The first two games were won by Juanjo quite quickly, the last one was quite longer and the winner was Cristina.
Sunday May 13
During the morning and after breakfastwe we helped the landlord again with the care of the animals. When we finished, we did our luggage in order to leave the rooms at 12:00. At that same time they planted a tree in the house garden. The kids took the shovel and hoe and were slowly making the hole, then they put some stones to decorate. When they were finished, we took a picture with the tree to send to a TV show in which there is a section on sending pictures of planting trees that they will display during the show. Like the day before we played ping-pong until the time of setting the table.
After lunch, we picked up the dishes and rested for a time watching Formula 1. At 16:00 the bus came. An hour later we arrived at the headquarters of the association and we terminated the second of the year. they came back very happy with their plant.
