From the 11th to the 13th of April 2008

FRIDAY 11
We met at 5:30pm in the association as usual to fetch the bus that took us to Gordexola. When we got there we settled and explained the coexistance rules. We began the weekend by telling what each had done during easter holidays. When then played some music and danced. This was the way to break the ice, since it was our first trip for 2008.

After dinner we watched “Mortadelo y Filemón”. They enjoyed it very much.

SATURDAY 12
At the morning, since it was a very nice day, we went to visit Artziniega. We had a nice walk and through the monastery of Nuestra Señora de la Encina and then went to the historic town centre. At 12:30pm we came back home and had a grape juice and some olives under the sun.

That afternoon we tried to make some bracelets out of threads, but they did not work out as we wished. The objective of this craftsmanship was to foster concentration and fine motor abilities. The problem was that they had a bad time concentrating.

At night we played kids Trivial. The objective was to Foster the communication between team members and to learn new things. First they played a normal game and then we made them the same questions to see if they were able to retain information, and of course, they were. The first part of the game was won by José Ramón, Juanjo y Jorge; and the second part by Andrés and Cristina.

Before going to bed we listened some more music and danced.

SUNDAY 13
The bus picked us up early in the morning to take us on a fieldtrip to the Loizaga tower, an idilic place in the Basque Mountains where we visite dan exposition of classic cars. We liked it very much. We had the idea of visiting this place when we where there last year, and thought it could be an interesting trip for they love cars.

We got back home for lunch, but before having lunch we had a snack with the previous days leftovers. After lunch we stayed home watching “súper dog”, since the weather was awful.

By 5:30 we were again at the association coming to the end of on our first family break of the year.
