FRIDAY 12
We met at 6 pm at the association to take the bus that would take us to Cabárceno’s shelter. When we got there we settled in our rooms.

After dinner we played ludo, blind man’s buff and musical chairs, games they really enjoy it.

SATURDAY 13
After breakfast, and in spite of the rain, we went to visit Cabarceno’s natural park. A guide explained us the animals we were about to see and their characteristics. The explanations were very entertaining and the kids were fully satisfied. They had a great time and liked the park very much.

We went back to shelter to have lunch and in the afternoon we returned to the park because we had still some animals to watch and two shows of birds of prey that were really fantastic. We also saw the show of the sea lions, very funny.

Back again in the shelter we gave the kids a sheet of paper so they could draw 3 different animals that we had seen in the park. The objective of this activity was to work with the visual memory.

Once we finished with the drawings, we explained them the rules of bombardment. Some did not fully understood it, but once the game began, they understood it instantly. The objective of this game is to learn that not always there has be winners and losers, making them know that the first goal of the game is to have fun.

After dinner, we had schedules a film of Harry Potter, but due to the bad installation of the TV set and the DVD, we could not do so. So, we divided the kids into two teams and gave them 6 written papers with stuff they had to find. The objective of the game was to learn cooperation skills.

SUNDAY 14
After breakfast we took our cases to reception and fetched the bus to take us to Santander to visit the Magdalena palace. The weather was very sunny, even hot, so we could fully enjoy the sea lions, pinguins and the beautiful sights.

After luch, we took our cases and returned to the association.
